The rest is split into equal monthly payments with no interest, under a written contract. Once the last payment is made, the site is yours outright. For example, Essential at £749 is a £200 deposit, then £45.75 a month for 12 months. A payment more than a week late means the site is switched off until it is paid. It comes back on as soon as it is, with no reconnection fee. A late payment adds 10% to that one payment, charged once. You can pay off the rest early at any time. Just email us. Hosting is not part of the monthly payments. While you are paying, your site is hosted on a Cloudflare account set up in your name, which we manage, on our Hosting plan at £44.99 a month, or on a care plan instead, which includes hosting. The Hosting plan keeps the site online and secure, but does not include changes. It ends with your last payment, and then you choose a care plan or take the site elsewhere. Yes. Once the build is paid for, the site is yours: the design, the content, the code and the domain. The reusable toolkit we build every site with stays ours, and is licensed to you for as long as you like. If you pay monthly, the build is paid for once the last payment is made, or sooner if you pay off the rest early. Until then the site runs under the payment contract, hosted with us on our Hosting plan or a care plan. Once it is yours, you can host it with us on a care plan, host it anywhere else, or take it to another developer. If you ever leave, once everything is paid, we hand over everything and help you move it. A lot of companies around here rent you a site instead: you pay every month for as long as you have it, and the day you stop paying it goes off. Paying monthly with us is not that. The £200 deposit comes off the price, the payments cover the rest, they end, and then the site is yours.

The site stays online, on the Cloudflare account in your name, and once it is paid for it is yours. We give you everything needed to host it elsewhere, and we will talk your new provider through it. Stopping the care plan never switches a site off.

Three things: search work, content updates, and Cloudflare and security management. That means your titles, descriptions and Google Business Profile kept accurate as your services change; text, prices, photos and opening hours updated by us within your monthly allowance; and your hosting, certificate, firewall, backups and monitoring managed so there is nothing for you to patch or think about.

No, though we do recommend it. It is optional, with a six month minimum if you do take it. Plenty of businesses take the build and host it themselves, and that is a perfectly reasonable thing to do. We will even help you set it up elsewhere. The one thing to know: the site is hand coded, so without a care plan any change after sign off is quoted before we make it and paid for as a one off.

We make it. The site is hand coded, so there is no editor for you to log in to, and once you have signed it off every change goes through us. On a care plan, content changes come out of your monthly allowance. Without one, each change is quoted before we make it and paid for as a one off, at £60 an hour in 15 minute steps. Anything bigger, a new section or new functionality, is quoted either way unless you are on Partner, which includes new pages and sections. You will never get a surprise invoice.
